Our Compañera: MarcelinaBy Brianna Griesinger, Marketing and Communications Coordinator Marcelina is a weaver in the Wakanquilla cooperative from the remote community of Kelkanka. She is 24 years old and has 4 children whom she supports with her income from her weavings. Marcelina loves weaving the designs of condors and alpacas into her textiles. Through her work with Awamaki Marcelina earns her own income which allows her to fund her children’s education and contribute to her community.
